Well I'm Not Perfect, Just All Messed Up

ok, so maybe I have no idea what is going on in the world of popular culture anymore

I mean, I live in London - hence I can listen to Virgin FM, or any other ok radio station (they are all pretty bad, and I HATE radio One)

And I have music TV, lots of it, too much for my own good... wohoo for MTV and Kerrang!

And there are gigs I can go to at any of the many London music venues

...and here I am in a vacuum

I haven't found a decent radio station, and the only gig I've been to here was my uncle's band, but they rock so that's ok www.purereasonrevolution.com

To be fair I have never followed music much, it was all too much effort, so I guess my music taste has been largely shaped by a few select friends (or one in particular...)

Anyhoo

So I found a link on Jessica Harp's website (she is the other half of The Wreckers - Michelle Branch's new band) to this band called The Veronicas

And I kinda liked their music

ok, so I admit I had more credibility listening to this sorta stuff when I was 17, but hey

Maybe you never get too old for girlie rock?

Or maybe this is a huge misjudgement, like the time I thought I liked Ashlee Simpson... and then swore to never admit liking her music again once I found out who her sister is!

Just wondered, are these guys popular in the "real" world? I have never heard of them before, and have no idea

I also think I might be a fan of Funeral For a Friend...

Also - Just Walk - they are surely hotter than Avril, I mean come on, they are twins!
