Fictional romance

So i was thinking recently, as i finished reading Mostly Harmless (Douglas Adams, the last of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "trilogy") that Random Dent (Arthur Dent's misunderstood and legitimately messed up daughter (imagine if you had never been born on your planet of origin, met any other humans other than your mother who doesn't love you and carts you around the galaxy for the sake of her own career, and then dumps you on a distant planet with your sperm-donor father whom you have never met. Needless to say due to hopping between space and time and any other dimension that was convenient for your career driven mother, at the age of 10 you are a teenager and your only source of enjoyment is clubbing with aliens.) would make a great couple with o blast i have forgotten... Err... o yes with Holden Caulfield from Catcher in the Rye.

They are both strange teenage humans, and judging from the boys my sister dates, that is about the only requirement.

But if you read the books, i think you can see some actual similarities there. It's a shame they can never meet.

So here is the challenge, are there any fictional characters you think would make a great couple, pefereably not from the same novel/film/tv show/other...

And yes i know only three people read this blog and therefore this will be a rather short game.
