I have a headache. It was temporarily alleviated by a diet coke, but alas it has returned...

i never write anything personal in my blog, about how i am, what i have done etc. I don't think i particualry want to... but therin lies a fact. So how am i? I am headachey.

but other than that relatively wonderful. I will explain why i realise that life is wonderful

i have forgotten some of the reasons

1. there were lots and lots and lots of Deloitte people all over Cambridge the other week handing out Deloitte promo stuff. I was sucked into taking 2 fliers because they said i could win something. I entered the competition under a fake name, and won! So that was sad as i never got my prize... so i entered again, twice, and won twice! This made me very happy. I have two email addresses, if i had more i would have won more prizes i am sure. You answer 3 questions and if you get them right then you get a code which you test with a piece of celophane on the promo leaflet (don't ask) and it tells you if you won a prize. And I am certain you always get a prize if you get the questions right. The reason why is i suspect it works in Deloitte's favour to give some price to all who enter, as then they will feel happy and good-natured towards Deloitte. If you lose you are sad and vow never to work for them. So I won a £20 virgin gift voucher, and a USB lava lamp. I was so very very happy. Which i was using in the law faculty one day, when it attracted over my friend Felix (what on earth is that Rachel? Why is it plugged into the computer?). I explained the story, and he was so excited he asked for the details of the competition. I gave him the leaflet and cellophane the next day. He told me yesterday he has entered 10 times and won every time, largely exploiting his father's numerous email addresses, but having the prizes mailled to himself. I wonder what he has won? It also amused me that my gift voucher came in an A3 padded envelope.

2. my family came to visit me and the weather was nice so we went punting and we got lunch at Agora even though it was packed and there were 9 of us.

3. I found my favourite book on Amazon for £1.29 brand new. It came today.

4. I discovered some excellent shoe laces at As Seen on TV, even though i hate that stand for having so much overpriced junk. Camden has so much cheaper junk. By junk i don't mean drugs, though Camden has a lot of drugs too. when i was 15 i was offered drugs at Camden market and i didnt realise because i couldnt work out what on earth the guy was talking about. Thankfully my friend Chris rescued me by dragging me off...

i hate blogging cos the words appear slower than you type so when you make corrections it all goes wrong. this is frustrating. does this happen to everyone?

5. I found 40p in a vending machine today when i was buying milkshake. the milkshake was comforting in the midst of PMT

6. When i bough a pactket of mints from another vending machine a few weeks ago i somehow got two packets of mints come out for the price of one

7. my friend Jen gave me an orange and an orange pouch she bought me in Vietnam (no the orange wasn't from vietnam)

8. My new supervisors are awesome especially Dr Oke

9. My comparative law lecturer likes me and chats to me after the lectures, even though i am always late

10. Heffers gave me a free mug

11. God answered my prayer

12. I am eating a mandarin
